Once the substrate is appropriately prepared, the terrazzo mix process begins. PLANOCOLOR® GRANULATES, including marble, quartz, silica, recycled glass, and lightweight colored granulates, are combined with hydraulic binders such as NOVACEM CREATIVE or NOVACEM CREATIVE FLOOR. This amalgamation results in robust terrazzo coverings with a minimum thickness of 10mm, although higher thicknesses are attainable based on the selected granulate size. For applications requiring smaller thickness (6-10mm), PLANOCOLOR® GRANULATES are mixed with NOVACEM MICRO-TERRAZZO, a two-component mortar, to create exquisite terrazzo floors.
